ChildSafe's Board of Directors ChildSafe is a 501(c)(3) corporation with an active Board of Directors that makes policy and manages the organization's operations. Among the board's important functions are strategic planning, human resources (including management of volunteers), financial oversight, and fundraising. Directors serve two-year terms and are chosen for their proven knowledge, special accomplishments, and differing perspectives. Current members (as of February 2010) are: Teresa Ablao, President Assistant City Attorney; Municipal Judge, Wellington Wanda Zimmerman, Secretary Branch Manager, Adams Bank & Trust Christian Bordewick Branch President, Bank of Colorado Gerard Boyle General Manager, C.B. & Potts, Fort Collins Trevor Brown Founder and Co-Owner, SimpliclTy Tech Barbara Cohen Marriange/Family Counselor Victoria Keller Volunteer and Service-Learning Management Consultant Veronica Olivas Assistant Coordinator for Safety and Training, CSU Mary Otten Retired High School Counselor, Poudre School District Nona Thayer Former County Commissioner Eveline Yang Retired CSU Director of Development, and previous CU Executive Officer for Grants and Development
