ChildSafe Tour Welcome to ChildSafe, a Larimer County, Colorado, nonprofit offering psychological evaluation and treatment for child sexual abuse. On August 15, 2010, we moved into a new building located at 1148 East Elizabeth, a block north of Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins – see Location for directions and a map. Visitors are welcome, but only by appointment (see Contact us to make one). Our new building is just a few blocks from the Robertson Street location that was our home for many years. (We really did need to move because our old facility was bursting at the seams. As our clients know, our therapists had to share office space, and there were times when offices got double-booked. We really appreciate how understanding all our clients and their families were about all this.) Our new facility, which used to be a suite of medical offices, has been remodeled expressly for ChildSafe. Now we have separate offices for all our full-time therapists, plus a shared office for part-time therapists. There's a quiet waiting room for adult clients and a separate waiting room for child clients and their family members. And lots more! We're open for business in our new home now, though we're still putting the finishing touches on a few things. As soon as we can, we'll post photos on this page to show what it all looks like... |
