On Fridays we offer tours of our ChildSafe facility. Most people are quite surprised by the environment – it’s warm and friendly, a place of healing and support. We welcome all community members – service groups, businesses, students, individuals – who would like to learn more about the work of ChildSafe!
Despite the fact that ChildSafe has been working to help abuse survivors in our community since 1986, many are unaware of ChildSafe. That’s not only a problem for us, but it is likely also a sign that child abuse and child sexual abuse are not being fully discussed in our community. One of our goals is to change this, even if that happens one tour at a time.
To schedule your visit, just find the Friday that works for you on ChildSafe’s Community Visit Friday Calendar below and sign up. We offer three tour times on Fridays – if some or all of the visit slots are missing on a given Friday, they have already been reserved by another person or group.
