VOLUNTEER
Volunteers donate their time and expertise so more money raised can go straight to our clients. We have ongoing needs for childcare, administrative help and community service projects.
There are many different ways to volunteer with ChildSafe ranging from short-term opportunities to ongoing commitments.
Some of our volunteers are required to go through a background check. To make this easy, ChildSafe has partnered with Verified Volunteers to provide comprehensive background checks of all of our volunteers. The cost of a background check is $18; ChildSafe will cover $9 of this. Those who are interested in volunteering can complete their background check here and using the Good Deed Code X1ES99M. Here is a walkthrough of the process.
We are also always on the lookout for individuals willing to offer their expertise. Whether it’s a potential seat to serve on our Board of Directors, or joining one of our marketing, fund development, event or other committees, we would love to hear from you if interested.

Projects
We frequently have special projects that require volunteers. Past projects have included cleaning carpets, sanitizing toys, and building shelves. Contact us if you have a special project in mind.
Childcare
You can make an enormous impact on a family’s life by providing in-office childcare while caregivers are in session or attending parenting classes. ChildSafe is currently looking for volunteers for both daytime and evening hours.
Office Help
Administrative volunteers can make an enormous difference helping in our office. Tasks include answering and directing phone calls, filing, organizing, and making sure all of our forms are up to date and available.
